"The given Live ID does not have permission to submit bugs for the Connect form defined for Feedback Tool, or the service is unavailable" when submitting feedback
I was just trying to submit feedback from one of my Windows 7 machines but after supplying my LiveID details, I'm presented with:"The given Live ID does not have permission to submit bugs for the Connect form defined for Feedback Tool, or the service is unavailable"I'm a registered Win7 beta tester on connect (as well as having access via MSDN and TechNet) so does anyone have any ideas as to what is likely to cause this problem?(e.g. could it be because I used a product key from the MSDN agreement associated with my employer's Gold Certified Partner agreement rather than the (measly) single product key I was able to get from Connect...)Mark Wilson (MVP Virtual Machine) - http://www.markwilson.co.uk/blog/

You need to use the product key from Microsoft Connect.Carey Frisch

Thanks Carey. Oh well, I've provided feedback directly at the Connect site now... it's up to Microsoft whether they will accept it that way (as it's not a setup, product keyor networking related issue!)I'm saving my key for my own machines (and using my employer's keys for theirs) but it's good to know that's the issue. Thanks for answeringMark Wilson (MVP Virtual Machine) - http://www.markwilson.co.uk/blog/
